Diwali hátíđarhöld í Ráđhúsi Reykjavíkur

Undanfarin ár hefur sendiráđ Indlands á Íslandi veriđ duglegt viđ ađ rćkta tengsl viđ ţá sem eru ćttleiddir frá Indlandi til Íslands og fjölskyldur ţeirra og bođiđ ţeim til margskonar mannfagnađa. 
Indverska sendiráđiđ í samvinnu viđ félag Indverja á Íslandi býđur til Diwali, ljósahátíđar í Ráđhúsi Reykjavíkur 6. nóvember og hefst hún kl. 16:00 og stendur til kl. 20:00. 

Hátíđin verđur stórglćsileg og međ fjölbreyttu sniđi, dans, söngur, ljóđ, tískusýning og leikir ásamt ţví ađ siđir í kringum Diwali verđa kynntir og bođiđ uppá veitingar sem tengdir eru hátíđinni. 

Ţeir sem eru ćttleiddir frá Indlandi til Íslands eru sérstaklega velkomnir ásamt fjölskyldum sínum, en ásamt ćttleiddum eru Indverjum búsettum á Íslandi og vildarvinum Indlands bođiđ til hátíđarinnar. 

Bođskort verđa send til ţeirra sem skrá sig á netfangiđ sosec.reykjavik@mea.gov.in  međ nafni, kennitölu og símanúmeri fyrir kl. 20:00 sunnudaginn 31. október.

Invitation

We are pleased to inform that the Embassy of India in Reykjavik in association with the Indian Association in Iceland (IAI) will be organizing an Interactive Session with the Indian Origin Adopted Children as well as Diwali celebrations with Indian diaspora on Saturday, 06 November 2021 from 1600 Hrs to 2000 Hrs at the Reykjavik City Hall.   

It is a cultural event for promoting cultural ties with diaspora. Programmes planned include cultural extravaganza: dancing, singing, poetry, skits, fashion show, fun games etc.  The Indian Association in Iceland would separately circulate a flyer on Diwali celebrations, including on food arrangements. 

Besides adoptees and their parents, PIOs, NRIs and friends of India are cordially invited with prior registration.   May kindly confirm at sosec.reykjavik@mea.gov.in with name (s), ID number and phone details by 31 October 2021 to enable coordination with IAI for arrangements. Those who have already confirmed their attendance with the IAI need not confirm again at the above email. 

The Indian origin adoptees and their parents attending the interactive session may kindly arrive by 1600 Hrs as the interactive session will be followed by Diwali celebrations for which they are cordially invited, including participation by children in cultural activities. May kindly confirm attendance by prior email registration at sosec.reykjavik@mea.gov.in by 28 October 2021, and indicate, if interested in participation in cultural performances. 

In view of the COVID-19 guidelines, email registration may be done by 31 October 2021. It is kindly requested that walk-in without registration may be avoided.
