Skriften handlar om hur internationell adoption etablerades och utvecklades i Sverige frňn 1960-talet till 1990-talet, om hur internationell adoption diskuterats och reglerats i politik och lagstiftning och om hur f÷rmedlingen av adoptioner organiserats. Den handlar ocksň om hur samarbetet mellan Sverige och de mňnga ursprungslńnderna fungerat och om hur man resonerat kring ursprungets betydelse f÷r adopterade. Boken vńnder sig till Dig som ńr adopterad, som ńr adoptivf÷rńlder, som arbetar med adoptionsfrňgor eller som av andra anledningar ńr intresserad av internationell adoption i Sverige.

The book is about how international adoption were established and developed in Sweden from the 1960s to the 1990s , on how international adoption discussed and settled in policies and legislation , and how the mediation of adoptions organized. It is also about how the cooperation between Sweden and the many countries of origin, worked and how they resonated around the origin important for adoptees. The book is intended for those who are adopted, adoptive parents , dealing with adoption issues , or who for other reasons are interested in international adoption in Sweden .
